Rating System

Just in case anyone is confused on how I rate my books, I decided to create a page dedicated to what each star rating means. My rating system is definitely different from other reviewers' rating systems—I tend to be pretty generous in giving stars (especially 5 stars :") )

I did not enjoy this book at all in terms of characters, plot, etc. This book just wasn't for me.

This book was eh... I did not hate this book, but I also didn't like it much. However, it had a few redeemable aspects.

This book was ok. I liked this book, but there were parts that I did not enjoy. Most of the books under this rating dragged at some points. However, it was a pretty good read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There are a few parts could be refined but overall it was a really nice read and I highly recommend.

This book has my entire heart. An extremely enjoyable read. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone if I could. Overall, it was fun. I'll give any book that thoroughly entertains me a 5 star (or near it).

An important note about half-stars & quarter-stars:

When doing big reviews I do not depict the half/quarter-stars since my computer-illiterate self hasn't found a way to do half-stars, let alone quarter stars, so this is a note that I tend to round DOWN. So if I rate a book 4.5 stars you will see 4 filled stars rather than 5. However, if the rating is a 4.75 stars you will see 5 filled stars.

I'm an extremely indecisive person and I tend to agonize over what I'll rate a book, so often times I will do half stars when I'm conflicted or quarter stars if I'm even more conflicted. Also, I tend to agonize over these ratings so if a book was particularly conflicting, you might see me go back and change the rating over time because I'm so indecisive.
